I thought this was fixed?

From the front lines in France and Russia to the deserts of North Africa and the airfields and convoys of Britain, the campaigns of World War II are yours to command in WW2: Time of Wrath! This turn-based grand strategy title, the highly improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

I thought this was fixed?

Post by Maximeba »

The German event which you can choose either Damn or Convince them,is still not fixed? The German player had this event and has to choose Damn every time, in this case his SU increase to 6. If he uses convince them his SU will increase by 20 and points decrease by 600. Why would I spend 600 points for that? If the German player keeps on choosing Damn, what will be the consequences?
I thought this was fixed in 1.70 but I guess I was.

If I am correct in my memory,.... the choice of "Damn" increases Social Unrest by 6 each time the Event happens.

But, if you choose "Convince" and take the 20 SU hit and the 600 PP hit, then the Event will never happen again.

No "fix" required, just an understanding of the options given for the Event. An understanding that is for me, absent in many, many Events
Assume nothing.

Yes exactly this question has been posted about this event before. What could be done is maybe a better clarification of the description of the consequences such as for the "Convince" option:

"If convince is chosen the unrest in the population will stop" (i.e. the event will not happen again)

correspondingly:

"If damn is chosen the unrest will not stop" (i.e. event keeps happening)

That will make the whole choice dilemma of this event much more clear.(The entire point of this event)

I think this event would have been of better use if it concerned the UK.

Anyway, I have removed it in ETO.
