Overstacking Carriers in AE

Can someone confirm that the Over stacking (on CV's) in AE works more or less like in WITP.

Will the Carrier on the above picture suffer any kind of penalty whatsoever due to its minor over stacking ?

No. I think a carrier an operate normally up to 110% of capacity. Therefore the one in your example could operate 79 planes without penalty.

WITP was 115%.[;)]

Hasn't changed as far as I know.

Round fractions down.
I believe the game only recognizes whole numbers.

Is there a rule against putting carrier planes on carriers that couldn't operate them?
eg most CVE's were too short and unstressed to operate the heavy Corsair (and also the Hellcat).  Also several of the IJN CV's couldn't operate the new Jill in '44 as it was too heavy when loaded so soldiered on with the older more vulnerable Kates...

No...

It's up to the player to decide what he considers an unacceptable practice.

Same for floatplanes.
No Glen's to Jakes, etc...
No Seagulls to Kingfishers on midship catapult CA/CL's.

Corsairs will not fly missions off the CVEs that I have as of July 1943. You can land them on the CVEs and transfer them from the CVE back to a land base, but while on the CVE they will not fly offensive missions of any kind, including CAP.

Since the first carrier capable Corsair, the F4u-1a, does not arrive until 10/43, that is what I would expect.
