43 isseus pbem allies

Post by freeboy »

Now in April 43

OK, I can now run over the top of my opponeent as allies now have localized air superiority.. and can therefore control the localized power ratios.. add troops, art etc to pacific battles.. war won right? not so fast there Gomar pile, It is not that I am doing poorly, other than losses... we will discuss that in another post, I am running up NG, currently builing up Hollandia.. have taken several marshels area bases...

Here is my quandry I USE SO MUCH FRIGGIN SUPPLIES!!! While on the offensives!!! I burned through somethink like 700k supplies in 6 week dual area offensives that completely shocked me.. I love it, But I am completely changing my focus to supplies movement to the front... After all I cannot take away all those Highly important bases within striking distance of the home Islands without supplies.. I thought I was managing well... I built up solomons and in rapid fashion once damaged cv's came back to play and aa went way up in late 42 early 43 dramaticaly booted my oponent from solomons...
What shocked me was the incredible wastage of overstock supplies in atohls.. I hate atohls!!! lol

Seriously this is GREAT!!! Now understand why the US built a huge fleet forthe war in the PAcific.... If I use five divisions of troops, a small army by any other theatre standards, with supporting troops, I need an incredible large amount of supplies shipped from OZ and US, via the supporting bases...

I want to publicly say how great this model is at representing damage to systems of ships and planes from every day use, and the use of supplies.. it really adds depth to what one has to struggle with...
FANTASTIC![X(][&o][X(][&o]
