ctd after set-up

Post by jack54 »

hi all,

I was getting frequent cdt which I thought was only on saved games,I updated to 1.70 then hot fixed and had the same crash loading a new game.

here's a console out to see if you find anything.

I'm thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling don't really want to though... it's a pain.

thanks for the help!

Consoleout you attached is wrong one. All it says is that you did run ToW and entered main menu. Each time ToW is running it overwrites consoleout, so you have to copy it right after crash, before you run ToW again.

hmmm... I had no problems loading your save, but my suggestion based on your consoleout is to edit fleets.csv in your save file, go to last line and add ";" at the end of line. Save, try to load.

thanks for reply Bleck,

I tried adding the ; but crashed 3 times so I removed it.( I may have done it wrong?)

you mentioned the consoleout error (Data integrity error: HMS Argus belongs to fleet id=159, but no such fleet exists);

so I moved the 'Argus' to another fleet ( I swear,I'm not cheating on purpose and now it seems to load fine.) (2 times)

thanks again I'll let you know if something else happens!

(I do seem to crash alot on saves, don't know maybe it's me)!

It's problem with reading/writing csv files, specifically last line in it. Hope we fixed it already for patch 1.80.
