OT how games are named

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

OT how games are named

Post by Hard Sarge »

just one of those things, but been thinking about it

this game is named Gary Grigsby's Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich

but to be honest, it should be Gary Grigsby's the day before Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich

(just in case, Alder Tag was Aug 13th)

"Marketing" as such has little to do with the actual product. [:D]

Catchy [:D]

Or if you want to be pendatic, Gary Grigsby's the Day before Eagle Day to Bombing or Defending The Reich plus associated Axis nations and occupied territories.

"Dude, where's my P-40s?" was always my preferred option.

Sorry, in-joke.

"Balken hell" (sic) was another favourite.

Perhaps a tagline for this game rather than the title:

"Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich...

For those of you that didn't think USAAF was long enough."
