Icant unzip the mappacks for Mods !!

Hello i am a German and I need help !!
I download Mods for COI (Kharkov, Grossdeutschland and The Ost Front Mod) !!
My Problem : When I download the Mappacks for these different Mods, i cant they unzip!!!
Allways the same error message from the Zip-Programms[:@] !
I used Win-Rar and Win-Zip!

what error message are you getting from winrar and winzip?

The files should just open from within windows explorer - have you tried that?

Message from Win Zip : Datei kann nicht geöffnet werden. Offenbar handelt es sich nicht um ein gültiges Archiv !

This Error Message i try always at big Mappacks how DOF Map pack or GD2 Map Pack !!  At shorter Mappacks i have no problems with it !

Not sure. I downloaded the West Front Map Pack (160MB) and that unzips fine. I will download the DOF and GD2 Map Pack and try them to see if I get the same result as you.

One possibility is a corruption in the download. Have you tried to download them again?

By the way, your English is quite good! [:)]

The Windows explorer doesnt opened, first comes the Error Message from Win Rar or Win Zip ![&:]

Just DL'd the DOF mappack and it is fine and opens with winrar with no errors.

Try a download manager to help at your end.

I just downloaded the GD2 Map Pack and it unpacks fine. As Andrew says, why not try a download manager and see if that helps? It certainly seems like there could be corruption happening in your download for some reason. If it's not that, then I admit I am at a bit of a loss to know what it could be. Are there any limitations or restrictions imopsed by your ISP? (just clutching at straws now...).

For the record, what is the size of the downloaded GD2 Map pack on your PC?

Mine says 339,268KB in the Windows Explorer listing, and the File Properties reports:

Size: 331 MB (347,410,143 bytes)
Size on disk: 331 MB (347,410,432 bytes)

If yours says different, then that might indicate that the file has been corrupted during the download.

Now i downloaded the Grossdeutschland mod v1 and his GD1 mappack.....its a great Mod and works fine [:)] !!

The Grossdeutschland mod v2 i´ve downloaded it works fine, too [:)] !! But the GD2 mappack has 331MB and i downloaded only 273 MB (287.084.544 Bytes) size on disk for the 3rd time[&:][&:][:@]...hmmmm !!
I think i have a problem with my download because i have only DSL-LIGHT with 384kb ??
Well, i dont give up and downloaded again [:'(][:D]........
