Intel Signal

What are intel signal? Example: "Radio transmissions detected". Enemy TF ? "Heavy volume of radio transmissions detected" Large enemy TF ? And other messages?
Sorry for my English. It is not the best.

I figured it is an indication of naval activity. The more transmissions the bigger the task force. Few transmissions then probably just submarines.

Saddly, I think you may need to be a code breaker to get much out of it all.

Remember, that if you note the hex, where the transmission came from and then check the map if there is enemy unit icon showing there, you get more info by hovering your mouse over that icon. Handy tip I spotted on this forum. So those "Radio transmissions detected.." are not useless. [8D]
