Well I went out and bought a pre paid credit card. I have had no luck in buying the game. Even with Eriks help, I can't buy the game.

Thank you so much for your help Erik, the representive called and said I needed another method of payment. I called the giftstore/creditcard and they said they didn't even get a request, so it couldn't even be turned down or verified. I went and to another site, and I coudn't buy a game from them either.

I tried Stardock, and I am downloading the game now as I speak. I am a sad panda now, since I didn't want this game, I want DW but got this game to see if I can purchase stuff online. I can use it on other sites but it seems Digital River dosn't accept it.

I just don't have the heart to try and go the paypal route right now, that would mean more waiting.

So again, thank you so much Erik for trying to help me, maybe later I will be able to get DW, but not right now. Unless there is another payment option that I can't think of, that will be it for me. I will come back to see if someone else has any other ideas for a payment agrangement, but I am tired of being charged long disntant charges on the phone to Digital River, that it's costing me more money trying to order it that, actually paying for it.

That is a crying shame....really think Matrix should step in here (keep it quiet if you must) and get him to send a postal order or cheque or something through the post and send him the game direct...thats my opinion anyway.

I really would urge you to go the PayPal route, Davor. While I don't have an international creditcard, PayPal did allow me to link my bank account and use that to purchase the game. Not too much hassle and once your account is set-up, you can purchase and download the game immediatly after. It took me way longer to download and install the game than it was to buy it. [:)]

Well when there is a will there is a way. My problem is, I am impateint. It's hard to justify to the wife, and myself to pay for a game, that I can't play right away. I will figure out something, just what is the saying, burt out from trying and talking on the phone with DR for over a half hour, at my expense.

Guys, we do support checks and bank transfers and paypal. Unfortunately it appears we don't support the particular pre-paid credit card Davor purchased. I'll bring this up with the store, but unless Davor has a different payment method he can try there's not much else I can do as I've already tried everything we can.

Davor, DR was supposed to call you rather than the other way around. Why was it at your expense?

I use paypal to pay via my bank account, and all payments are essentially instantaneous - I´d say 95% of all cases are done within 5 minutes or so.

I seem to recall, though, that it can take a day or three to get the bank account think set up initially.
