Tutorial

I would like to be able to go forwards or backwards in the tutorial. If I can go back to a previous frame at the moment I haven't figured out how.

I don't think you can. I wish I could do that too. I had to restart the tuturial 3 times to see what I missed because I either forgot it, or was trigger mouse happy. At least you can reload the tuturial and go fast to where you want at least.
