Installed the beta patch, no more saved games.

I know I saved 2 games yesterday when I was playing. I just installed the beta patch, and started DW up. Went to the load screen and now I have no saved games now. No big loss because I was just playing around learning how to play, but would have been pissed if it was a real game with many hours on it.

Just letting CodeForce know, since they said we should be able to play with old saved games. This is not the case, at least for me.

Did you change the directory location for saved games in the previous version? After installing the patch, it goes back to the default location for saved games.

Ok, I see, they are in seperate folders. I had to go to the before updated patch saved game folder to find them. Ok I loaded my saved game now.

Yes, the update resets the save location - sorry about that, we will see if we can fix that before this goes official. All your saves are still there in their original location and will open with this version. If you had them in the default location, just back up one folder level and go into the folder for the previous version.

Yup it works. I freeked out for a bit. I was thinking AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH but it was nothing. Still learning how to play the game. But I am enjoying it so far.

Updates also reset all automation options as well as all other options, so make sure you check them before loading your games
