I've decided to take the plunge into a PBEM game. Looking for a Grand Campaign with the usual house rules (no Kwantgung/RTA/Indian crossing of borders w/o PPs, only 1 Port attack 1st turn, Allies can only move TFs at sea - incl. Force Z, etc.) Sub doctrines off, Allied torps on, Allied DC on.

I'm not particularly adept at China, so I'm interested in a a like minded opponent who doesn't mind my fumbling around the theater.

I'm flexible regarding PDUs. I'm a historical-type player, so I'd prefer an opponent who doesn't land on Noumea on Turn 2.

Other than that, I can average a turn a day, with more some days. Obviously I'll need a day or two to get the first turn back with all the stuff to do on it...

RE: Looking for IJN Opponent - Grand Campaign

Post by ChrisR »

Its been some time since I played WitP but now I have got the AE I feel the best way to learn the game might be from the IJN deep end.

If you don't mind a relative IJN novice let me know!
In the first six to twelve months of a war with the United States and Great Britain I will run wild and win victory upon victory. But then, if the war continues after that, I have no expectation of success - but a minor victory is always possible...
