H3Mil

Post by fulcrum28 »

Hello. I have been busy and have not yet decided between HCE or ANW. However, I played both and i liked them very much.

I would like that HCE include the limited magazines for airbases and carriers for example.

I am still looking forward to playing v.3.10 ANW, but still the demo and the game have not been released.

btw, I have read that H3Mil also exists. does it contain different capabilities?

thank you again.

Question

Post by hermanhum »

The H3MilSim page says that it does:

http://www.computerharpoon.com/products/h3milsim.html
[blockquote]Examples:
  • Create a proposed ship, complete with radars, sonars, and weapons suites, then take it to sea and engage enemy units using another human or the game's AI for the OppFor.  For extended analysis, use the “Monte Carlo” feature for 1000 runs.
  • Load GIS Shapefiles onto a map, then place a proposed airfield in a friendly country, place an appropriate OOB of aircraft, defense armament, sensors, and magazines. Evaluate the base’s offensive value vs the cost of defending it.  Export the results to an ODBC compliant database for further analysis.
  • Create a new aircraft, define its performance, sensors, and loadouts.  Engage enemy land, sea, and air targets to gauge its performance.  Export the engagements to AGI’s Satellite Tool Kit (TM) for 3D analysis.[/blockquote]

Don´t worry, we´re still alive [8D].

"H3MilSim" sounds good Hermanhum, but another silly question: What does this "little thing"  cost ? [;)]

Discussion of H3MilSim is pretty pointless since AGSI will not be selling it to anyone except another country/military organization.  [:D]

For your amusement, you can check out:

http://www.h3milsim.com/purchasing/prod ... kquote]The “buy-in” starts at $50,000 and provides significant discounts on licenses and healthy discounts on services.  [/blockquote]

The military version has capabilities not currently in the civilian version, but I ***think*** I have heard some people say they may be gradually added to civilian version, some of them anyway...most of the capabilities are intended more for analysis rather than a "game" experience however, so doubt many of you would want them.
