Seaplane Tenders

Ok, I think I know what they are from the database but how do I use them and what is their function?:confused:

The "classic use" is to operate float planes or flying boats from undeveloped islands. Create a TF with the AV in, and send it to somewhere that doesn't have an airfield. Also send some supplies to the same place. When the AV arrives, you should see something like "Aviation Support 0+10". The 0 is the base (ie lots of palms, but not many spanners :). The +10 is the effect of the AV. This support can be used for seaplanes. So transfer one in, and there you go.
Of course, the classic response to the above is to send a surface TF to sink the AV (as I have just discovered in my game!) so it's best used in the middle of nowhere.
