Voluntary homework assignment

Post by Big B »

For anyone who may know, does anyone have data on the actual known dud rate of the USN Mk 15 surface ship torpedo? Or for that matter - all torpedoes?
I am interested in any data that shows hits and known failures...or a link to a reputable website that has that kind of data?

Thanks in advance,
B

It was a good read, therefore I'll give you an A-  [;)]  Sorry, nothing is perfect and I believe that even the records available now will never supply the information we would really like to have.  It was very interesting though.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.
