Vought and Goodyear family

I wonder how many people will ever see the F4U-4 and F2G-1 in game?

The art modders have been doing an awesome job.

I just wish there way some way they could make the relative A/C sizes more realistic. Just looks strange to see B-17's that are smaller than their escort fighters.

The tops are really very small, not many pixels to work with.[:D]
So my guess is that they try to use as much of the box that they can.

Am I right guys?

Halsey I think there was a thread about that around a year ago talking about the size of the box and pixels etc.

Limitation of the game design and personal choice: would rather see detail over accurate scale considering fighters would only be 2 dozen pixels across or less.

That's my thinking.

Here's an F4F accurately scaled to a B-29:

If the air attack screen was large enough to see the fighters as posted in the first screen and scale the bombers off those planes I'd like the scale option better but as currently constructed I like decent views of all planes attacking and I'll rely on imagination that the bombers are infact larger.

Again good job fella. When can I test these beauties. [:D]
