This is the error I'm getting. I tried running the demo in XP compatibility mode but no dice. Not too impressive. I'm trying to decide between between this game and Operation Barbarossa and and right now OB is winning simply because it will start.

I'm not pretty sure does the demo runs on Windows 7 x64.
However the full game runs on Vista 64 and W7 64.
Personally I run on Vista 64

YEP, been running it on Win 7(64bit) since the game was released. No problems. When you say it will not "run" be more specific. Does it begin the start up process? Does a splash screen appear? Do you make it to the game menu?? I tried the demo a loooong time ago on my W7 64 and it worked. But who knows now. I might just try the demo if I have a chance today and see what occurs.

I've tried the demo multiple times (downloading I mean).  I tried the GG version and it ran just fine with me.  That and the fact that GG now has it on sale for $9.98 means that GG will be getting my money and not Matrix.
