Deleting titan designs

Post by Peter Yearsley »

I have a desgn that I want to remove. Although its file no longer exists in the Recon folder (or anywhere on the DD, as far as I can tell), it still appears in the factory list. How can I remove it completely, please?

"HD", that should have been, not "DD"

IIRC you can delete it from the factory.

Thanks, Firestorm. I'd missed that button. I suppose it seemed odd to delete an object from within itself, so I didn't think of it. Doh! I plead stupidity, my lords.

You only removed the printout, a text file created by the pinboard, which is only used by players to swap design specs or post them in the forum. It has no effect in the factory module. Designs are stored in the *.tos files in your data folder (1=recon, ...). Removing a design from within the factory module will update the respective file.

Thanks for the explanation, Thorgrim. I have a lot of deleting to do. The landscape's littered with the debris of my design efforts.
