I am not shure what you are asking for. Do you mean to add the game date 2656 for an example or the date when the save was made? Because when you load up a game, the date is there.

Ah got it. Game date. I understand now. Yeah this would be a nice feature.

BTW, another annoying thing about autosave is that the delay is "real time", I mean you have 6 autosaves if you have a 10 min delay and let the game pause for 1 hr !
The delay timer shouldn't run when the game is paused ...

This is by design. The game is not strictly real-time - for example, if I am designing a bunch of new ships, I have the game paused. I want it to save what I've been doing for the past 10 minutes whether the galaxy map is paused or not.

Well, that makes sense indeed... The real issue is maybe that autosave is a bit troublesome currently because it's loooong (on a rather hi end machine, I can't imagine what it is on an old comp..) Any chance to have this faster ?

the load window is a simple windows explorer "open file" generic dialog.
you can do everything there... rename files, move files, copy them, change directories (to any directory you want)...
i thus keep my saves in
C:\Users\User\Saved Games
which is the official directory for saved games in windows 7...

anyways... i also find dates to be essential... which is why I right click and select "view" and then select "details"... then I click on "date" to sort by date. this setting is SAVED by the interface meaning that every time you open a load window it appears in the correct directory, in details view mode, and sorted by date.
I do not have a superman complex; for I am God, not Superman.
