Windows 7

Post by HL Hanger »

I have a new computer which operates on Windows 7, 64 Bit Home Premium Edition. Will any of the Close Combat series operate on W-7?

Thanks

As I look at purchasing the Normandy game, I am curious as to the advantages/disadvantage of a hard disc vs. online downloading. Experience and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. In this vein, I see that there is a 30 day window to download. What happens if the game should crash after the 30 days?

Also, do either or both come will all the current downloads?

Thanks in advance!

Whoops...just read all the posts on problems with Error 18. Has this been resolved for Windows 7?

If you choose to Download only just burn your downloaded file to a DVD it is the same file that comes already burnt on the boxed version... then if you crash you can install later.

Write the serial number on the DVD.

Patches have  to be downloaded and installed  ... you should burn these to the DVD too, then everything is backed up.

In tLD you don't get a printed manual only a PDF that is included in the DL or Boxed version.  (You get a printed manual in all other CC versions)

I think 2 or 3 people have reported the error 18 (out of thousands)... It seems you have to adjust your UAC settings and windows defender settings.
