Question about pilots

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Question about pilots

Post by figabo »

Hello,

I just started to play a BOB campaign (by playing England), and i have 2 questions about the pilots :

* Are there a way to select the pilots you want to flight ? If not how the pilots are selected ? (for instance, for a pool of 24 pilots in a squadron, if 12 of this squadron will fly, how this 12 would be selected from the 24 pool ?)
* Are there a way to know the pilots name currently in flight ? i just saw by going on campaign summary, and clicking
on detail for a squadron, you have the list of pilots with the number of mission flown. When it is the first mission for the squadron it is easy to know the pilots currently flying because they have 1 in mission and the others 0, but after several missions, it is hard to know who is currently flying [&:]

Thanks a lot for your answer ! [:)]

In my experience of BoB, it's on the basis of rank. ie All the Hauptmanns, then all the Oberleutnants, then all the Feldwebels etc. Once a rank is reached which has more holders than the number of ready aircraft left the ones with the highest experience fly.
