Leyte Gulf Scenario

I just got my game up and running after installing new sound card and took a look at the scenario list and I am wondering if there is any plans for a Leyte Gulf scenario.

I am really interested in this battle because I lost an brother who was stationed on the Birminghame when it went to assist the Princeton.

The hanger deck on the Princeton blew out when the Birminghame was alongside assisting in fighting fires on the carrier. He was in one of the forward gun turrets which was destroyed when the hanger deck blew up.

It would mean a great deal to me if somenone would design such an scenario

I don't think that the Philippines are on the map (which covers only the SW Pacific theatre), so unless someone designs a mod containing a new map, I am afraid you are out of luck...

I think I am pretty safe in stating that Leyte Gulf scenarios will be thoroughly covered in the future WITP release. So hang in there George!

Well the map, which is a static map...don't think it's editable is that of the south pacific and not the Philipines. Thus no Leyte in this game.

However, with War in the Pacific coming out, you will have the opportunity to fight such a battle but on a larger scale.
