P-47D 25 or D27, "X59", 86th FS, 79th FG, Fano, Italy, February 1945.

Used a different and WAY quicker method in these last two - they look better to me, too. No need to edit pixel-by-pixel for hours, only to make it look worse than it was in before...

Bf-109 K-4, Wk-Nr 330204, White 1, Staffelkapitän Hauptmann Menzel, 9./JG77, Neuruppin, December 1944. Unfortunately I was unable to track down Menzel's first name.

I just realized, that I screw up, big time: the game uses .bmps, and these are all saved as .jpg! I have no .bmp versions, not even of the full sized ones. Back to the drawing board...

EDIT: seems I did, after all, have the FW190A8 and the first 109G6 as .bmps - I had put them to the side-image charts the game itself uses, before saving. Luckily, I have high-res .jpg almost of them all, just without the background. Adding it doesnt take long. More underway, wont be making the same mistake with them.

EDIT2: it wouldnt even matter much, but the .jpg quality in this small images practically ruins them.

Some fixed ones, this time, as in a bmp, without quality loss. Experimented with backgrounds too.

In this file:

109G6, double chevron, Gruppenkommodore Hauptmann Anton Hackl, III/JG11, Oldenburg, January 1944.

FW-190 A-8, Brown 4, Staffelkapitän Oberleutnant Waldemar Raedener, 7./JG 26, Coesfeld-Stevede, September 1944.

Ju-88 C-6, "R4+XM", Geschwaderkommodore Major prinz Heinrich zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, NJG 2, Stendal, January 1944.

P-47 D25 or D27, "X59", 85th FS, 79th FG, Fano, Italy, February 1945.

P-38J "Stinger", 338th FS, 55th FG, 8th AF, Nuthampstead, 1943.

In the last one, the preview is .png, but the download is a .bmp(inside the .zip file, as forums only accept zip, gif and jpg files as attachments). Open it and btraxside/btraiside.bmp side by side in photoshop, paint shop pro, gimp etc, square-select, copy, paste into the other as selection, move where you want, and voila. Just dont forget to take backups first. Myself I have moved all the non-used images at the bottom of the file where there are empty grids with just the background clouds.

The last file only has one 109 in it...I would like to use all the 109 images you have created to update my BRT game. I know how to modify the graphics files in the game, thanks for the great work.

Ahh, yes, working on those, plus I have a few more not yet seen here. I might have them ready later today, or tomorrow, at least.

EDIT: you could use those .jpgs as well, but the quality is just horrible, "jpg-white" is even visible without any zooming...

Bf-109 G-5/AS, double chevron, Gruppenkommodore Major Günther Specht, II/JG11, Wunstorf, April 1944.

Bf-109 G-14/ASy, Black 13 "Peterle", Staffelkapitän Oberleutnant Ernst Scheufele, Reinersdorf, October 1944.

Preview and download.

EDIT: clouds at low left in the first one look a bit weird, I positioned it a bit badly... I'll fix it, just keep screen contrast low and you wont notice it. [:D]

EDIT2: now fixed in the version in the attachment.

The one one the left doesn't seems to have correct dimensions seems a bit distorted, however the one the right looks good....real 109 sexy curves :D
