The big manual

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

The big manual

Post by wodin »

Thanks to a top forum member Dampsquid I now am the proud owner of Ageods compilation. So I have WW1 working again.

I've just read the big manual and I have to say ther certainly is a lot to the game...the one thing I thought seemed very simplified was combat but there is more to it thn I thought. I only wish the combat played out more like Ageods other games...I've never been a big fan of flipping a counter to wounded....I like to see more detail...I want to see the elements of each division and how many men they have...and how many men were lost during the battle....just like Ageods other games.

I have my eyes on Vain Glory of Nations....IF someone makes a WW1 campaign then I will buy it....I wish they had made a WW1 game using there engine as I mentioned above.
