1.0.5.6 investigate infinite loop

Originally occurred in 1.0.4.9 Still occruing in 1.0.5.6 on a clean install on a new game.

As soon as the game is loaded, it asks me if to investigate a ship or not. Click investigate. Then, immediately click on the scrolling message about having investigated the ship, it will trigger the same investigate question again. click yes... this will trigger an infinite loop of investigate requests (that interact badly with pause btw)

I have the same problem : infinite loop of discovery with some ships (not all) Also, sometimes, when i investigate a base, i have no message about what was found or not.

I have never seen such a bug in pre 1.4 versions.

still a problem with 1.0.5.6... (occurred in a new game on a clean install)

I just ran into the same infinite investigation loop as well - 1.0.5.6 on a clean install. I found two ships in the system, sucessfully investigated the first ship, then got the infinite loop on the second ship.
