Game becomes slow and makes bad AI

After a while the game becomes really slow. AI stops working correctly. Ships fire all lasers at the same time to the same point. Ships collect at some area instead of patrolling as usually. I have to save the game, exit, and load the saved game to make it work for a while. It's a 1000 stars map. Maybe this stuff is too much to handle for pc?

Sounds like a RAM or Graphics issue TBH.

You may have to try playing on a smaller map, you really need at least 4 GB of RAM for a 1000+ star map.

I have 4gb ram. this still doesn't explain strange AI behaviour. and ships shooting 1 ray blobs. :S
