when I hit the diplomacy button, I get an unhandled exception in "DistantWorlds.Types.Empire.RemoveDefeatedEmpireRelations()" I can use an old game create a new one, it's the same. It is no more possible to play the game... Edit : It also occurs when I try to get to the diplomacy screen by clicking a "we have encountered a new empire" message.

OK, I solved it. Would anyone get the problem, here is how : For some reason, the uninstallation did not remove some dll files on uninstall. I deleted them manualy, and reinstalled. That did it.

When you uninstall the game, i would suggest to always check :

- if the main Distant Worlds folder is deleted (wherever you installed it). If not, delete it.

- if the folder "Code Force Limited" located inside C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming (that's it for Vista) is deleted. If not, do it. Beware tho, as your savegames are probably stored here. If you want to keep them, copy them before deletion.

This way, I think you can reinstall properly.
