Question regarding est editor

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

I just tried increasing the ROF of the German MG 42 light machine gun. I opened its data window; went to the Performance tab; selected the APer fire type and then changed the normal ROF to 20; and hit the OK to close the window. If I reopen the data window for that weapon the change I made is there. Are you sure you selected the APer fire type before changing the value?

Did you recompile the file after you saved it?

If not, you're playing with the same data as before.

The estab editor works with the estab.xml file, not estab.coe.

However, the scenarios that you play work with estab.coe.

Until you compile the .xml file to .coe, none of your changes are actually applied to a file that can be used to play the game.
