Version?

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Is the 1.12 patch the latest and greatest, which patches the game to the Gold Standard.

When I start the game it says 1.12, but does not say anything about the Gold version. Just curious.

The Grand Strategy Expansion can be patched to the 1.12 version of CEAW?
