Red Army Report:

Leningrad front: Our Brave troops have reached Tikhvin. Assaults on the city have failed. The leadership of the Finns can look forward to our just retribution...we should have made them a colony of fellow travelers in 39'.

Central Front: Comrade General Zhukov (erroneously reported dead, though saved because of a power failure) has returned from duties with STAVKA and is reorganizing the Shock Armies. Sadly, they've caused little shock, and General Zhukov has promised Comrade Stalin of sweeping 7.63mm reforms.

Western Front: Advances slowed as the railways are far behind our brave troops. Engineers sought...come out, come out, wherever you are...if it takes too long you'll be introduced to the finest arts of the NKVD

Moscow Front: Same as above

Bryansk Front: The capture of a large quantity of schnapps has delayed the advance. Comrade Stalin understands, but wants to know why none has been fowarded to STAVKA. Quoting Uncle Joe: "If my moustache doesn't taste like mint before Wednesday, it will get very warm at Bryansk Front HQ"

Orel Front: More thumb twiddling as a keen shortage of bullets, Band-aids, and Borschte makes itself felt.

Kharkov Front: Long awaited for supplies have reached the area. The summer clothes and swimming trunks are appreciated...but not conducive to the advance

Southern Front: The Dneiper has been crossed, the hard fighting Romanians ejected after a bitter struggle, earning for General Malinovskii the Order of Hero of the Sovjet Union. Sadly, casualties were heavy due to friendly fire...though this resulted from the fact that Romanian and Russian uniforms are almost the same colour, or because the follow-up squads have been very zealous of their duties is not known.

Trans-Caucases Front: Follwing in the footsteps of Southern Front, the troops are anxious to get to grips with the Fascist invaders, despite the depression of finding all stocks of potato miracle juice already gone

In the Air WAr: More units enter Frontline HQ. Despite training, the battles in and around Moscow have left them sadly lacking in skills. Four to One losses in the favour of the Germans are rumoured, but not admitted by STAVKA
Jesus ...., with all respect. This closet germanism is allways killing me.
