Patch for GGWbtS?

From the legendary team at 2 by 3 Games comes a new grand strategy masterpiece: Gary Grigsby’s War Between the States. Taking gamers back to the American Civil War, this innovative grand strategy game allows players to experience the trials and tribulations of the role of commander-in-chief for either side. Historically accurate, detailed and finely balanced for realistic gameplay, War Between the States is also easy to play and does not take months to finish.

Patch for GGWbtS?

Post by Capt Cliff »

Is there a patch in works to address some of the more lessor problems?

I was thinking that adding an option for Kentuckey to slowly join the union. The internal workings of the Kentucky state government is not modelled into the game. When Kentucky voted for the Union the CSA invaded.

No plans to patch WBTS at this time. Aside from the fact that we are 100% focused on completing War in the East, we feel that WBTS is good as is and that any further work could be counter-productive. There would be as much or more chance of impacting game balance adversely, and/or creating new bugs or unexpected side effects that could hurt the game, as there is of improving the game).
All understanding comes after the fact.

Thanks Joel,

The problem with Kentucky can be solved with "in-house rule" forcing CSA to invade by Oct 61. Everything else is cool except for getting my opponents to send me their moves!! LOL! Thanks again!
