Naval Airstrikes

Post by schwaryfalke »

Hi,
Not sure if this is a bug or WAD.

If a naval airstike (from carrier or Tac Air) is intercepted, then i can repeatedly do an airstrike until one is not intercepted.
you do still lose 1 str per interception but this way each turn all air/carriers can do a successfull strike

Yes this is true, but it will cost you. There are only so many planes on a carrier.

I have lost 3 strength points before the interception failed. Becareful, sometimes it is not worth repeating the attempt to do an airstrike.

Each strength point cost you 18 PP

Success comes at a cost.

Hi,

@ Doomtrader Version 1.02

@ Razz - It can cost, but is usually worth it. When the choice is losing 18pp for nothing vs. losing 18pp and inflicting more than 18pp damage on the enemy, i would always take the latter. The only time i would not continue is if it leaves the air unit at a dangerously low str.
