Early 1940 Germany has not recieved DPs for 4 turns

Is there an event that I possibly misread that cancels out the German DPs they receive every turn, at least for a while?

I have used DPs to move Romania toward full entry twice. And since then I have stopped receiving DPs

There have been a couple events that give the Germans 1DP which I did and the Germans only went up one point that turn instead of an extra 1 point.

This leads me to beleive that I may be misreading the event??

There is also the Iran event that I thought gives 5dps.

What is going on here?

DPs are assigned by the month. Gameturns are fortnightly. Perhaps that's the discrepancy?

Thanks Tomokatu, that's clear now. I must have received a bonus and forgot and started thinking I wast getting these points more quickly.
