Strange text in tooltips (BETA 3.4)

In the picture below, you can see the strange text at the three arrow points. Several locations show these characters on my side which are the Germans. My cursor is at the top left corner of the tooltip, the unit stack there.

This is the Kharkov 1943 scenario.

SS Runes probably. An encoding problem?

Sort of. The issue is that the SS runes aren't part of any font file that I know of. Unless someone wants to create a new font (This could take a long, long time), It's not something that's fixable, although I can definitely do a better job of displaying the characters. I'll put it on the list for 3.5, and see how difficult it would be.

Unfortunately, the tooltip doesn't support bitmapped fonts right now, so that isn't a good option either.
