Font Colours

What's the name (in the opart 3 fonts.ini) of this font inside the red box in the screenshot and much more: where can i change it's colour? However i try this colour stays the same.

You change the color by changing the values that are labeled Red, Gold and Silver.

ToolTipAlpha=150
ToolTipColor=0x0A9639
ToolTipDelay=10
Gold=0xFFFF84
Red=0xFF0000
Silver=0xCEFFFF

0xFF0000 is Red
0x00FF00 is Green
0x0000FF is Blue

You can mix and match the colors. I'd reccomend using some paint program like Paint.Net (or you can look up the common colors on the internet like Silver and Gold)

From my initial post it might not become clear what i wanted to know. My question was where in the opart 3 fonts.ini can i change this specific font's ( in the red box in my screenshot) colour?

I tried and tried, could change everything, but not this one. And yes, i changed the global silver...

That's the medium font, I believe. By default, it's set to using the bitmapped font, so it ignores the color and used the silver bitmapped font file instead. You'd have to modify that and put a new version into the altgraphics folder to change it. You can change to a windows font (I prefer them myself) but you'll lose the SS rune symbols.

Yes, the medium font. Now this might be a problem though a minor one. Because i had already done this:

- I changed 'global silver' to a value more towards beige (works everywhere except in this)
- I have set medium font to windows font=Y
- i also tweaked around with the other fonts' colours, all works well, except this.

This colour also appears in the medium font which normally is/was silver in the combat report and the news string.

EDIT: Also it occures to me the tooltip background can be set either to green or yellow, but nothing else. I chnaged the coulour to blue and it displays yellow, changed to light grey...still yellow.

Thanks. Silver is backwards, bgr instead of rgb. Tooltip background is messed up.I believe that it's not only backwards, but one channel, I think it's the red channel, is always going to be 1, making it pretty dark.

I'll see if I can fix that for the release build.
