Wanted: Australian

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

I want to order a CD of scanned war diaries from the Australian War Memorial but they won't email them or make them available for download. As the price of posting the CD to the UK is prohibitive is there a kind Australian here who might take delivery of said CD and transfer several megabytes of PDF material to me electronically? For that person's trouble they would get a free coaster and maybe a padded envelope to re-use.

Alternatively, does anyone have the war diary of the Australian 2/2 Pnr Bn from June/July 1941 that I could have for free or trade?

The AWM want $27.50 (AUD) for posting overseas versus $7.15 for internal. I'd only be saving £10, but when the charge for postage is more that for digitising ~50 pages ($26) it seems a bit of a con.

That sounds like an express air service rate. Why don't you ask them to send it via normal air mail, which should be a lot cheaper.

If you can't sort out a reasonable shipping rate, I am happy to help you out (I live in Melbourne).
