Attitude Question

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Attitude Question

I am pretty sure that the higher the attitude is for an independant country the more likely it will ask to be a Protectorate as long as your nation has a large enough army within 4. Is my assumption correct?

Just getting into this game and enjoying it immensely.

Yes, you are correct. You can subsidize the country and place a diplomat there to improve attitude. The army (100,000+?) is still needed for the country to ask to be a protectorate. The army needs to be within 4 provinces IIRC.
