Can't Install?

I purchased and downloaded the setup file, and it looks fine, but every time I attempt to run it, I get a message from windows saying that a problem caused the application to stop running. I tried re-downloading after turning off my firewall and virus protection; same problem. I even tried downloading on an older XP machine, thinking Windows 7 was to blame; still no dice.

Have there been any other reports of corrupted install files? Any ideas how I could install this?

Hi Ricomise,

Did you get any other details or any other error message on these systems? Any more info would be helpful there, was the message different on XP?

The file on the store is not corrupt. If it was corrupted on every download I have to imagine some kind of serious issue happening with your internet connection. I would try again after clearing your cache of temporary files and deleting the original download, just to see if the connection is better. You could also try a download manager such as Star Downloader as long as you set it to single stream (the store doesn't like multi-stream download managers).

Hmmm. Installer works fine on computer in different location. Must be my home internet connection. Strange, as I've never had a problem before and haven't made any changes. Anyway, thanks for the help, Erik.
