Wish list

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Wish list

What would you like to see added in the future?

Gameplay

1) Readiness: at the moment if you move a unit the readiness never drop. I think is correct to lose it if the unit spends more than half AP points moving around the map.

Scenarios

1) North African Campaign
2) Operation Weserübung
3) Case Blue (sweet dream [:)])

I would like to see:

.....
Assigning CAP

If by CAP you mean Close Air Protection, this happens already. There is a button on every air unit that sets it to intercept or not and what level of readiness it should react at. Your planes set to intercept will do it automatically in your opponents turn.

One other item I would like to see: All the scenarios knitted together on one map allowing for a "Grand" scenario as opposed to three seperate scenarios. Include Holland too.

Close Air Protection? I think you mean Combat Air Patrol?

How about air interdiction of supplies and movement? (Hmmm, I think I may have already brought this up else where). Anyway, I think this would add an additional dimension worth having.

I'd really like Operation Weserübung, added to the campaign, without it there is a serious gap... North Africa and Balkans should probably be a separate game in the series, not just a small addition, but Operation Weserübung's place is definitely in this one.

It would be great to have transport planes and be able to supply and reinforce troops that are cut off, from the air,- Crete, Arnhem, Stalingrad anyone?

Cheers,

Well yes, we had that in AT too. Maybe we don't need airsupply in the first stages of the Blitzkrieg, surely later on it would be nice to have. It could be played as cards as well (play a "drop supply" card) or we could have transport planes for later scenarios. Guess the game engine could easily do this.

What might be useful is a "hex total combat value". It could be displayed along the top where the PP is displayed or the other side where the hex victory point value is displayed.
