I can't get the v1.07 EIA to run. I have Windows 7, 4 Gig RAM, 2 Gig Video RAM. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you getting the "not enough" memory error, where it says you need at least 256MB of memory to run Empires in Arms?

Yeah, I've started getting this too recently. Make sure you have all other programs closed. Check your memory usage also.

I have pretty much the same setup as you do Win7 64 bit, 4GB DDR2, 512x2 GDDR3.

Yes, I'm getting that same error. I've not successfully gotten through two turns of the game since its been released. I've always hit one error or another and killed the game or couldn't execute it at all like with this memory error. When is 1.8 scheduled for release? I've been dead in the water since I bought this game the day after its original release.

I think we have been waiting for 3 weeks now. Can you bug Matrix again about this. It shouldn't take 3 weeks to post a file to a website.

I had a memory problem on win7 64bits too, but just used the Windows compatibility tool and setted to windows XP and never got that problem again.. no need to run something else.

This didn't work for me. The problem simply went away upon restart.

The real problem wasn't even that it checked for memory usage the problem was that the checking was broken. There was more than 256MB available and the program would still complain about not having enough memory (even though it could have used paging). It was just bad coding.

WOW! Love you too man!
Not to be defensive BUT you spoke ... it actually wasn't bad coding for when it was coded (before 64 bit Windows O/S) and memory really was at a premium BUT just simply obsolete for today!

NOW, that's not to say that I've never been guilty of bad coding and I have examples for you upon requests ... LOL!

Thank you
