We have the Public Beta of v1.01 of Hannibal: Rome and Carthage available in the Members Club. It fixes most of the crashes reported so far, and sets the Auto Save to run each turn.
If you would like to try it before it is made official, you will need to create an account in the Members Club and Register your game, if you haven't already. Once it is Registered you can find the link on the Member Home page.
Remember this is a Beta version, so it may still need to be tweaked. Please let us know of any issues you may find. Here is the complete change list;
