Question

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Question

How often does Matrix have sales?

I've been looking at this game for a while but asking over $50 a year after its release is just, well, stupid. Not to mention the fact that this is a redo (and not a full one at that) of two older games.

Thanks!

Matrix often (well almost always) has a Christams sale. But there's no guarantee that this game will be included.

Well, it's on sale now, hurry. I picked up a copy. Shame I waited so long.

As for the cost, I justify my gaming purchase this way:

If a game costs $50 and I spend 50 hours playing it before I hang it up, I rationalize that my entertainment cost was $1 an hour. Not a bad deal at all, and that is much cheaper than most other forms of entertainment. Now I just don't purchase on a whim, I read the forums and reviews when possible, so I am usually not wrong when I buy the game. I get my monies worth. It helps me thinking that way as I only get an opportunity to buy a game 3-4 times a year, and hopefully that thinking will help you.

One game that I have gotten more than my monies worth is Uncommon Valor. My entertainment cost for that is a fraction of a cent per hour. It's still on my HD and when I get the bug I am good for double digit hours until that bug is gone!

Happy gaming, and Happy New Years!
