Help to upgrade

Hello, i own this game and i tried to dowload the 1.12 patch but when i try to upgrade the installation ask me for a serial that I don’t find neither on the cd nor in the cover box.

The game cover show four general heads and COMMANDER over a red shield where in gold are the words Europe at war.
The text of the box cover is in Italian. Inside manual in Italian. The low little characters on the back of the cover says :
2007 matrix publishing llc and Shilterline Software UK ltd…..

I am a matrix games owner and I always bought them by internet (witp, TOAW, witp AE…) but i received this as a gift and now I have a game I cannot upgrade due to the absence of a serial.

Can you help me ?

Solved!! It was not a matrix edition. I found the patch in the Slitherine site!
