Editor: Making a huge "copy-paste" and another question

Post by traskott »

Questions:

a) Is it posible with the editor cut more than one slot and move them to a new position, to make changes "in masse" ?

b) Is it posible do the same ( cut more than one slot ), then loading a new scen and then paste on it ?

Thank you...

I have not found a way to do that either of those things inside the GUI.

If you do / are adept at editing at the database level (outside the GUI), you can do this in many cases with a mass update.

There is a tool 'witpload' that allows data to be exported into Excel, changed and then imported back into the scenario data files.

Thank you VERY much..

edit: Eehhh, uuuh. how I can distribute the data all over the excel files to get a plain view.

Now I see all data in just one or two columns and it's a mess!!

Where might one find this tool?

If someone has a tutorial on using this, I would love to see it.  I've tried it a few times and not been terribly successful.

OK, I can do that, once I figure out how to get a DOS prompt from Windows 7. [:D]

One day when I am not busy ([&:]), I'm going to try to change it to GUI.
