your vote for best scenario?

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

your vote for best scenario?

Post by mantrain »

Well I really would like to get back into this game, don't see much of a community here though. maybe grognards have moved onto bigger/better?

But am hoping gamers here can chime in on your past favourite scenarios? DO you prefer historical, or non?
I am thinking about Peipers Crossing.
Thanks!

there is nothing bigger or better at this scale....I'm waiting for some new scenarios and to be hinest some East Front action...I've played the bulge enough at the minute....as for good scenarios...Race to Bastogne is one I enjoy....there is only one or two scenarios that I wouldn't bother playing again afetr the first time...most are great to play.

One of my favorites during playtesting was Assault on the Sauer. Something about playing the underdog with all those poor Volksgrenadiers forming up after the crossing made it an interesting contest.

Next I would say Peiper crosses the Muese. Great tank battles on the Meuse at Huy and the open country on the road to Antwerp.
