We're still here

Post by rickier65 »

I know we've been quiet for last few days, but we're still here. There's been a lot of activity with the Dev team getting files updated for the latest build for the testers.

Thanks

Rick,

Is there any ETA on a release date? It's due to be out before Christmas, right?

4th Quarter 2010. Maybe after Christmas but before January 1st. Hopefully in time to be a stocking stuffer.

Rick,

Erik is the guy with the most knowledge as far as release date. All of us on the team have been doing our best to get it wrapped up, but there is always more to do than what you expect, and little things (and sometimes not so little) have a way of popping up. MR has it right. I can't give a better estimate than 4th qtr.

Thanks
Rick

Just added to the Screen Shots of the Day listings. Sorry to be gone for a bit but as Rick says we are busy trying to finish up the testing on the update so we can release it.

Time for an update.

We are, as Rick alluded to, still here. We are resolving two issues. It's down to that. Finishing up several mods and still polishing the scenarios/campaigns that we want to include with the update.

We are getting much closer. Each day gives us more information about the issues we're needing to resolve and a day closer to release.

We still have about 7 weeks left of 2010. I hope to clear that date easily but like all development teams this one doesn't want to give you an inferior product. Things look to be on target for a 2010 release though. None of this is official. For that Erik would be the one to make a more company oriented view.

One of the main reasons for us slowing down our posting in here is to finish up the update and get it to you. OTH, we don't want you guys to think we've just disappeared either. We're working on the update every day.

Good Hunting.

I hope you are getting some sort of monetary compensation for all your hard work on this Mad Russian. Not that I am interested in knowing what kind or how much, I have just been impressed by your effort for this title.

My compensation will be getting PCO played. To get a game series available that will be at least close to what many of us had before. To have a say in how the series looks, acts, plays and then to get it out so we can all play.

Now if Matrix wants to up that ante I'm listening.

Since I'm the least talented guy on the team it's an easy choice for me to take the time to do the Screen Shots, and updates, while the rest of the team does the hard work. [&o]

You are a more focused man than I am MR. I would tend to lose interest after so long a time unless I was actually getting paid. I think you do a great job keeping all of us lurkers informed. Thanks for the hard work.

Yes, BUT I'm playing the game daily. That makes it easy to keep the focus.

I just take A LOT of screen shots while I play is all....[:D]

I hear the train coming......

At the moment I'm putting rail lines in my scenarios. The last step before giving them to Matrix.

I hear a game coming MR... can't wait for it either. Been watching the map maker tutorials lately and thinking... now, if only, I had this update in my hands, what I could create or my mouse could create... whatever. Keep up the great work MR. Once Ostfront is released I only have to wait a tad bit longer "hopefully" for my next game wish which is... Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad and my life will truely be complete!

I'm not really into shooters, but would love to see Lock N Loads Heroes of Stalingrad! That game seems to have fallen off of everyone's radar. Any hear of any updates on the progress?

I've only found one thing that I don't care to make with the map maker editor. The rest is all good.
