New to the game / two questions

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

New to the game / two questions

Post by Wiggum »

Hi,

im from Germany and has just discovered this game.
I already have played the demo, great that there is the manual and the full tutorial included ! [:)]

I now will buy this game but i have two more questions:

1. How many times can i activate the game at the same time ?
Lets say i want to install it on my Notebook and on my PC, is this possible ?

2. Is there a general limitations of possible installations ?
Lets say i have to install and reinstall many times (new PC, new system ect.)
Will the Serial key get used after x installations ?

1. Yes, you're allowed to have it on two systems, as long as you only play it on one at a time.

2. Nope, no limitations. Once you buy it, it's yours, just make sure you backup the installer file and the serial number so that you will have easy access to them in the future.

Thanks for the fast answer !
1. Yes, you're allowed to have it on two systems, as long as you only play it on one at a time.

Does this mean there is a internet connection required for playing ?

You don't need an internet connection to play. You enter the product key when installing the game, and as far as I know, that's it.

Guys,

I will tell you what is even more clever. If you want to play both sides of a battle, you don't need a LAN and two PCs. Just start up two instances of HTTR/COTA/BFTB and use the local loopback adapter address for both the HOST and CLIENT. That would be 127.0.0.1

Enjoy!
