Just a thought..

Post by Sapa »

Why is the American troops called US instead of AB (Airborne)?

In that case there should be UK instead of Paras? Just a thought...i have changed all the names of the US to AB in my game ;)

All US troops involved were airborne, so there is no need to indicate that. It is possible to have both American and British troops on the same battlefield in this version, so nationality designation becomes more relevant. You could theoretically have XXX Corps and the British airborne troops on the same battlefield so that designation also becomes relevant.

Good points Swordthrower. Probably Steve's reasoning? Like I said I'll ask/point it out to be sure it was considered. I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

And all the Poles involved were paras but are named PL...

I think all the names in the game is right but just dislike the name US on the American AB. No problems really, changed it in my game but i had to ask
