Netbook?

Post by chrismscotland »

Just wondering if anyone is running TOAW 3 on a netbook?
I have an HP/Compaq Mini 311 with a 1.6ghz Atom CPU and the Ion GPU, I seem to remember TOAWII wasn't very taxing in terms of tech specs but would like to know if it will work before I buy.

Also am I right in thinking that it can now be played in widescreen?

Thanks

Chris

I run it on my wifes Toshiba. It is a new one w/Win 7, 4GBG ram, 2.67 dual core proscessor, and a graphics card that is great for a notebook:Cost--$500 at Wal Mart. Runs better than on my older laptop.

Yeah, Ralph got it to run for us in wide screen. Runs on I-Pad. Not sure about a netbook though.

Dito. MSI Wind 100 Clone, 1,6GHz, 2GB RAM and connected to a 16:9 flat screen works fine.

Jeez, I feel like a moron. I thought you said NOTEBOOK, not NETBOOK. Sorry 'bout that, Cheif.. No wonder I always lose the Big North Afrika Scenario...No attention to detail[:-]

Hey Scottie,

running it on 1440x900 via flatscreen and it also works with 800x600, 1024x768 on the 10" little baby, too :)

How's the engine room at the Eterprise, mate?
