Select particular buildings in Map Editor

Post by MangyDingo »

Is there a way to select a particular building in the map editor? I want to create a large interconnected building complex, but have to keep clicking through random buildings until the one I want for a section comes up.

There will be a key to lock in the building and to repeat it as many times as you wish. There are literally hundreds of buildings in the game and this is a much needed feature.

My cramping fingers and disabled mouse attest to that Image

Hi Bill
In response to the lock key.
Is it possible to maybe go one step further and open an window with 10 buildings shown and then scroll through them. Then just select the building you need with a memory. This is kind of what you do now for the sub terrain features ie dirt cobblestone gravel. Could it be also possible to maybe rotate buildings just like you do bunkers once placed.
