start up error

Using Vist I can't start the game past the Main Menu. After I click on a scenario the screen just goes black and freeezes up. Any ideas?

Two things come to mind to me - are you using the Matrix version or the old Talonsoft version? The latter is incompatible with Vista. It may be something to do with installation as well, I gather that you can't install by the default path but have to create a separate folder......I don't have Vista so can't elaborate.

I'm having the same problem. Now, the game says it needs a minimum of a Pentium... I have a Celeron, does this matter?

Celeron is fine for the games. I used to have one.

Try installing the games to something other than the default path. There are issues with Vista if you do.
